E-commerce Marketing Agency in Morocco: Method, Pricing and How to Choose (Part 2)

E-commerce marketing agency in Morocco: reviewing an order dashboard with a founder

Choosing an e-commerce marketing agency in Morocco means choosing who will spend your ad budget, and how that spending will be judged. The right agency does not only talk about clicks and ROAS: it talks about orders delivered, paid for and kept.

In Part 1, we covered the market figures, the 8 problems that cost Moroccan online stores money, cash on delivery and WhatsApp. This second part is practical: what an agency actually does, our 6-step method, the channels, published prices and the questions to ask.

What an e-commerce marketing agency in Morocco actually does

An e-commerce agency does more than launch ads. It works on the whole chain, from the first view to the second purchase:

Area What the agency does
Store Fast mobile product pages, reviews, guarantees, clear delivery and return terms
Advertising Meta, TikTok and Google campaigns, weekly creative tests, budget moved to what delivers
Content Product photos, demo videos, customer content (UGC), ad copy
Confirmation Automatic WhatsApp messages, call scripts in Darija and French
Measurement Each order followed to cash collection, by campaign and product
Retention Follow-ups, repeat offers, bundles, with customer consent

Our 6-step method

Every store is different, but the approach stays the same. It starts from real figures, not the ones shown by the platforms.

Step What we do What you get
1. Audit Store, ads, confirmation, delivery and return rates Your real cost per delivered and paid order
2. Foundations Product pages, mobile speed, order tracking, displayed terms A store ready for traffic
3. Confirmation WhatsApp messages, scripts, team organisation Fewer fake orders and refusals
4. Creatives Photos, short videos, UGC, several angles per product A bank of ads to test each week
5. Campaigns Launch, tests, fast cuts of what does not deliver A budget aimed at collected sales
6. Repeat and review Follow-ups, offers, bundles, monthly report with figures More value per customer, clear decisions
Key point: we do not promise figures before measuring. An agency that announces a guaranteed cost per order or ROAS before any audit is selling you a number, not a method.

Where to invest: the channels that work in Morocco

The right channel depends on the product, the price and the audience. Here is how we usually use them:

Channel Ad reach, end of 2025 Role for an online store
Facebook and Instagram 22.8M and 15.1M The main engine: videos, carousels, retargeting, order forms
TikTok 16.7M (18+) Demos, UGC, visual and trending products
YouTube and Google 21.6M on YouTube Searches for a specific product, comparison, established brands
WhatsApp — Confirmation, customer service, repeat purchases
Snapchat 7.64M Young audience, to test depending on the product

Reach source: DataReportal, Digital 2026: Morocco (ad reach is not the number of active users).

Organic content matters too: a brand that is active on its accounts reassures a hesitant customer before they order. Our social media management Morocco service handles it alongside the campaigns.

How to choose the right agency: questions to ask

Ask these questions at the first meeting. The answers quickly show whether the agency knows Moroccan e-commerce:

  1. How do you calculate the cost per delivered and paid order?
  2. How do you track confirmation, delivery and return rates?
  3. How many new creatives do you produce each month?
  4. Who handles order confirmation, and with which messages?
  5. Do the ad accounts and the store stay in my name?
  6. How are your fees separated from the ad budget?
  7. What does the monthly report contain?
  8. How do you comply with Law 09-08 for WhatsApp messages and customer files?

Be wary of figures promised before an audit, long contracts with no review point, and reports that only talk about clicks, likes and ROAS.

Among the online brands supported by Hello World are Mabilévia, Yani Concept, Al Fahd Gallery, Resin World and Daba Pneu (see our case studies page).

Frequently asked questions

How can I reduce returns with cash on delivery?

Confirm each order within minutes, show the total price and delivery time, check the address, warn the customer before delivery, and analyse refusals by city, product and ad. Visuals that match the real product also reduce refusals at the door.

Should I offer card payment in Morocco?

Yes, alongside cash on delivery. Online payments are growing (38.5 million transactions in 2024 according to Bank Al-Maghrib, via Infomédiaire). A small incentive for card payment encourages customers without closing the door on others.

What ad budget do I need to launch an online store?

It depends on the product price, the margin and how many products you test. Our ad packages have the ad budget on top of the fees. The best start is an audit, then a test budget with clear decision thresholds.

Shopify or WooCommerce for Morocco?

Both work. Shopify is quick to launch and simple to run; WooCommerce offers more freedom and different subscription costs. The right choice depends on your catalogue, payment and delivery integrations, and who will run the store day to day.

How can I confirm orders without spending all day on it?

Automate the first confirmation message on WhatsApp, then only call doubtful cases with a short script. A chatbot can also answer frequent questions on size, timing and delivery.

Does TikTok work for selling in Morocco?

Yes for many visual, demo or trending products. TikTok reaches 16.7 million adults in ad reach according to DataReportal. Like any channel, it should be judged on delivered and paid orders.

How much does an e-commerce agency cost?

At Hello World, Google and Meta ads start from MAD 7,000 + 30% of the ad budget, and a custom e-commerce site from MAD 40,000. The final price depends on your project and is confirmed in a free quote.
