Online Visibility Guide and Checklist for Law Firms in Morocco (Part 1)

Morocco law firm visibility checklist: law office in Casablanca

A client is looking for a business lawyer in Casablanca. They type a few words into Google, open two or three websites, look at the Google profile, then call the firm that seems clearest and most serious. That choice often takes a few minutes.

This Morocco law firm visibility checklist helps legal firms be found and understood online, without soliciting clients and in line with the rules of the profession. Part 1 sets the frame: key figures, budget, the indicators to track and a 90-day plan. Part 2 gathers the checklists to tick.

This guide is for information only and is not legal or ethical advice. If in doubt, check with your bar president (bâtonnier) or bar council.

How to use this guide

Read it with the partner in charge of communication and the person who handles calls and emails. Every point not yet in place gets an owner and a date.

  • Part 1 (here): understand the context, set a budget, choose indicators and plan.
  • Part 2: tick, item by item, what is ready and what remains to do.

The guide is written for law firms, but also for legal and tax advisory firms, notaries and intellectual property advisers. Each profession has its own rules: an advisory firm that is not a law firm does not face the same constraints. Check which ones apply to you.

Golden rule: every piece of content published in the firm's name is reviewed and approved by a lawyer or partner. No promised outcomes, no comparison with other firms, no solicitation.

Key figures for your Morocco law firm visibility checklist

Your future clients are online. But for a law firm, being visible does not mean advertising.

35.5 millioninternet users in Morocco at the end of 2025, or 92.2% of the population. DataReportal
6.9 millionLinkedIn members in Morocco at the end of 2025 (ad reach, not active users). DataReportal

On ethics, the Rabat bar president has publicly criticised seeking clients on social media as contrary to the profession's rules (Bladi.net), and a bill on the profession was under debate in early 2026 (AllAfrica, January 2026). A firm's visibility therefore rests on information, clarity and trust, never on solicitation.
